12-Day Ecuador & Galapagos Tour Itinerary
Arrive in Quito, receive airport assistance and transfer to the hotel. Keep the remainder of the day light for rest and acclimatization before beginning the mainland Ecuador program.
Explore Quito's UNESCO-listed historic center with a private guide, visiting principal plazas, churches and viewpoints.
Travel toward Baños with a route adapted to weather and road conditions, including either Cotopaxi or Quilotoa as the principal Andean landscape.
Experience the waterfalls and lush landscapes around Baños, choosing scenic viewpoints, a relaxed spa option, cycling, hiking or a more active adventure.
Continue from Baños to Guayaquil, using the day as the mainland transition toward the Galapagos gateway. Include selected stops when operationally appropriate and overnight in Guayaquil before the island flight.
Fly from Guayaquil to Baltra, complete local arrival procedures and begin the confirmed island program.
Explore a permitted visitor site with a certified naturalist guide according to the confirmed program.
Continue to a second visitor area by land or boat, following the routing confirmed by the local supplier.
Choose a more active snorkeling, kayaking or hiking experience, or a lighter program centered on accessible wildlife sites and coastal scenery.
Use the additional island day for a conservation, highlands, marine or supplier-confirmed wildlife experience.
Fly from Galapagos to Guayaquil and overnight on the mainland before the international departure.
